Secure Annex aims to be a resource for any person or team to be able to understand what software extensions are actually doing. Signing up provides access to analysis for all extensions. Add extensions to a watch list to receive notifiations when an extension is updated for up to 500 extensions. All users are also able to access the Secure Annex API at a limit of 25 requests per day.

Register and login

Logging in to Secure Annex for the first time will create you a new account and your own organization. Authentication options include:
  • Email link
  • Google OAuth
  • Microsoft OAuth
  • Single sign on (support request required)
Secure Annex only collects email information and full name if provided by authentication providers.

Where to started

Try the Search page to understand extensions present in any of the supported marketplaces. Add your first extension to your Watch list to receive notifications when that extension changes meaningfully. After adding more extensions to your Watch list, check out the Insights page to understand if any extensions may be risky to use.

Invite others to collaborate

The organization tied to your account can be used to collaborate with other memebers of your team to create Watch lists, view Insights, and review Events. Send invites by adding their emails to your organization and, once accepted, they will experience all of the same views. All organizations can be upgraded at any time for additional features.
