Features

Profile

Manage your personal account information:
  • Account Status Display
    • View current subscription tier
    • Refresh status button to update your profile with current information
  • Name Management
    • Update your display name
    • Minimum 2 characters, maximum 30 characters

    • View pending organization invitations
    • Accept or decline invites

Organization

Manage your organization and team members:
  • Organization Selector
    • Switch between multiple organizations
    • View organization ID and name
    • Set primary organization with star button
    • Primary organization appears first in all dropdowns and is loaded by default
  • Organization Details
    • Edit organization name (2-50 characters)
    • View read-only organization ID
  • Members Management
    • View all organization members
    • See member names and email addresses
    • Remove members from organization
    • Cannot remove last member (minimum one required)
  • Team Invitations
    • Invite new members by email
    • Send invitations through dialog interface
    • View all sent invitations with dates
    • Cancel pending invitations

Invitations do not trigger any notifications at this time. Invitations can be accepted by visiting the user’s profile page.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Configure SAML-based single sign-on for your organization (Enterprise feature):

  • Required Information
    • Domain: The email domain for SSO authentication - automatically generated based on login domain
    • Redirect URL: Your identity provider’s SAML endpoint
    • IDP Entity ID (Issuer): Identity provider’s unique identifier
    • SP Entity ID (Audience): Service provider identifier (auto-generated)
    • X.509 Certificate: Identity provider’s signing certificate
  • Fixed Values
    • ACS URL: https://auth.secureannex.com/__/auth/handler
    • SP Entity ID format: https://app.secureannex.com/saml/{organizationId}
SSO is available for organizations with the Enterprise plan and only supports Service Provider based authentication. Contact support to enable this feature for your organization.

Setting Up SSO

  1. Prepare Your Identity Provider
    • Configure a new SAML application in your IDP (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, etc.)
    • Set the ACS URL to: https://auth.secureannex.com/__/auth/handler
    • Copy the following from your IDP:
      • SAML Sign-On URL (Redirect URL)
      • Entity ID/Issuer (IDP Entity ID)
      • X.509 Certificate
  2. Configure in Secure Annex
    • Navigate to Settings → Organization
    • Scroll to the Single Sign-On (SSO) section
    • The Domain field will be pre-filled with your organization’s email domain
    • The SP Entity ID will be auto-generated for your organization
    • Enter the Redirect URL from your IDP
    • Enter the IDP Entity ID (Issuer) from your IDP
    • Paste the X.509 Certificate from your IDP
    • Click “Submit Configuration”
  3. Test the Configuration
    • Log out of Secure Annex
    • Attempt to log in with a user from your configured domain
    • You should be redirected to your identity provider
    • After successful authentication, you’ll be redirected back to Secure Annex

Managing SSO Configuration

  • View Configuration: See all configured SSO settings including certificate status and creation date
  • Edit Configuration: Update Redirect URL, IDP Entity ID, or X.509 Certificate
  • Delete Configuration: Remove SSO setup (users will revert to standard authentication)
  • SSO only works for users with email addresses matching the configured domain
  • Deleting the SSO configuration will immediately disable SSO login for all domain users
  • Contact support if you need to change the configured domain
