The Watch feature enables proactive monitoring of software extensions. Set up automated tracking to receive notifications when extensions you care about experience changes in ownership, versions, security verdicts, or visibility status. Manage your watchlist with an interface that supports bulk operations, filtering, and configuration of notification destinations.

Adding Extensions

Add extensions to your watchlist with flexible options:
  • Add Extension Button
    • Opens dialog to add new extension
    • Enter extension ID or slug
    • Select platform (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, VS Code, OpenVSX)
    • Optionally select the checkbox to add extensions for a platform in bulk using a newline delimited string
  • Watch Configuration
    • Choose notification destination
    • Select what to monitor (watch items)
    • Create per-extension notes
Free plans are limited to watching version updates for 500 extensions.

Filtering

Find specific extensions in your watchlist:
  • Search by exact extension ID or slug
  • Filter by marketplace platform: All platforms, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, VS Code, OpenVSX

  • Drag and Drop Reordering
    • Grab handle icon to drag rows
    • Reorder by priority or preference
